Members from U.S. Army Medical Research Directorate-Georgia gathered at Mukhatgverdi Military Cemetery in Tbilisi to pay respect to Georgia’s fallen soldiers by laying flowers in remembrance of their sacrifices, Sept. 27, 2021. The cemetery is the final resting place for many of Georgia’s greatest heroes, including those who sacrificed their lives during the Russian-Georgian conflict of 2008, as well as fallen soldiers from Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
